Shine On!

We recycled some of our tired old plastic barrettes into stylish hair ornaments simply by wrapping them in Lion Brand Lamé and stringing nine silver bugle beads on the lamé

Hot melt glue was used to secure the ends of the yarn.

Woo HOO!

Use lame to make your old barettes beautiful

Make this pink ribbon scarf

Pink Ribbon Scarf

One of our very favorite aunts is a breast cancer survivor.

She asked for a pink scarf to wear in October, because it is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.  She told us that she was cold all the time that she was having chemotherapy, and that the best scarf would be soft and warm as well as pretty.

Our ribbon-trimmed scarf is trimmed in soft pink satin ribbon and made of beautiful pink VelvetSpun -- the perfect yarn for a soft and luxurious scarf to give to someone who really deserves something wonderful!
