Make Amazing Creations with Basic Blocks!

Try something new using the skills you already have! If you can knit or crochet a scarf, you can make all sorts of amazing things. In this month's BK4K, we show you how to take basic rectangles in either knit or crochet and assemble them in all different ways! Make everything from wrist-warmers to a puppet by taking knit and crochet blocks and putting them together creatively!

Our knit and crochet projects are so simple, you could even create your own versions. The crochet bag and scarf each use 5 inch by 5 inch squares, put together in panels, while our knit sleeves and hand-puppet each feature 6 1/2 inch by 8 inch rectangles sewn up.

With a little embroidery and sewing, you can make even more projects like these on your own!
