I designed this market bag for the new book, "Craft Activism." The original design used green as the primary color. I chose Vanna's "Colonial Blue" as the main color for this bag. The front portions of this bag are constructed of granny squares (one side multi-color, the other side single color squares), adding striped sections for the gussets. The yarn portion of the bag is hand-sewn to an existing plastic market tote, utilizing the market tote's coordinating handles. This provides a very strong yet decorative market bag!
