Project Linus

I found an article on Project Linus in Newsday. Project Linus delivers blankets to hospitals for preemies, young children, etc. who are hospitalized and need a little "something special". When I went to the website, I found that they recommended Lion Brand's site for patterns for blankets. I was very impressed by the e-mail I received from Hilary Roberts, the president of Project Linus. I completed the first baby blanket and sent it to them, and I was so thrilled to hear that as soon as my blanket came in, it was re-packed and sent out to a hospital for the children's unit. It is a very fulfilling feeling to know that I have done something for someone else.
