Circle in a Square Throw

Lion Brand® Homespun®

GAUGE:

Rnds 1-3 = 3" (7.6 cm), completed square = 8¼" (21 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

Always join last st of rnd to first with a slip st. Shell st is 5 dcs. Complete all squares through Rnd 8. Weave in ends on WS. Work Rnd 9 around 1 square, then join tog on 1 or 2 sides as necessary while working Rnd 9 on all remaining squares.

Circle in a Square Throw Reviewed by Cheryl Doyle on 2008-03-18 *****
It took a little to really "get" the pattern, but once I did a few practice squares it worked up great. My Great Niece will LOVE it done in shades of blue!
Not sure it is an EASY but it is not difficult
Would also like the number of squares it would take to do a full afgan rather than a throw.
