GAUGE:

9 sts and 13½ rows = 4 in. with size 13 needles in St st. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Knitted Two-Tone Tunic Reviewed by Emily Forester on 2008-09-23 *****
This is the first sweater I ever made, and although I've made several other garments since, this sweater is my favourite. I made mine all one colour - navy - and it is so warm and cozy! I'm planning to make another soon even though I currently have a few projects on the go!
