GAUGE:

Each pat repeat = 1.75 inches (4.5 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Lacy Baby Blanket Reviewed by Laura Myers on 2012-01-24 *****
I love this pattern. It works up really quick when you're in a hurry for a gift. However, I chain 4 at the beginning of each row rather than 3. It looks more uniform that way.
