Each pat repeat = 1.75 inches (4.5 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Row 1 Ch 3, turn (counts as 1 dc and ch-1 space). Dc in next dc, *skip 2dc, 5 dc in next dc, skip 2 dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc; rep from* across, end last rep 1 dc in 2nd ch of t-ch. Rep Row 1 until piece measures 42 inches from beg. Fasten off. BORDER Join yarn with slip st in any corner and *work 3 sc in corner st, 134 scevenly across to next corner, 3 sc in corner st, 186 sc evenly across to nextcorner; rep from *, join with slip st to beg sc - 652 sts (multiple of 4). Rnd 1 Ch 2, work 4 dc in corner sc, *skip 1 sc, 1 sc in next sc, skip 1sc, 5 dc in next sc; rep from * around, end skip 1 sc, 1 sc in next sc, slip stto first dc. Fasten off.
