Russian Hat Reviewed by Carolyn Baker on 2010-01-19
I made this hat using funfur and boucle yarns. It turned out just like the picture and fit fine on my large head. It took more fun fur for the brim than specified in the pattern. I think I used four balls. I rolled and tied the batting for the brim rather than sewing it as the pattern specifies. This is a great hat because the weight of the brim keeps it from blowing off in the wind. I've had loads of complements on it. It was easy to knit, but a bit tricky to sew the fun fur together on the brim.
