Lion Brand® Moonlight Mohair - Trellis®
GAUGE: 13 stitches + 14 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) with 1 strand each of A and B held
together.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1 strand of each yarn is held together throughout.
|
SCARF/STOLE

I was about 6 inches into this when I already knew I wanted to make another one! The color combo is so beautiful and shimmery, it looks like ice and snow. I figure it would look really beautiful in the silver/black color combo, too, so I've just bought the stuff to make that, even though I'm not quiet done with this one yet.
It doesn't look anything like you think it will; it really doesn't look like either yarn but rather a unique combination...sparkly from the Moonlight Mohair, shimmery from the Trellis. And the Mohair gives it some fuzziness, but the tightness of the stitches seems to keep it under control.
It does seem like it would be scratchy/itchy if you wore it next to your skin, though.
