Striped Self-Lined Bag

Lion Brand® Lion® Cashmere Blend

GAUGE:

20 sts + 30 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st worked in the round. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Striped Self-Lined Bag Reviewed by jules hurry on 2010-04-27 ****
nice easy pattern - I used up two odd balls of cotton.
It was a bit shapeless, though, so I used a piece of plastic mesh (also a left-over!) which I cut to fit the base and sewed in place before finishing the lining in place. This gave the bag a bit more structure.
