French Flair Scarf and Beret

Lion Brand® Jiffy® Thick & Quick® - Fun Fur

GAUGE:

8 sts + 10 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Stockinette st (k on RS, p on WS) with MC on larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

When changing yarn, pick up next color yarn under strand(s) of previous yarn. Use moderate tension (not tight) at edge where yarns change so piece will hang evenly.

French Flair Scarf and Beret Reviewed by Irlanda on 2009-12-19 *****
Hi there gals!

well i made both... but i used Lion Bouclé Yarn in Hard Candies and 6mm and 8mm needles.

I have to agree with all about the mini beret...

BUT

Answer is simple...

Just double the ammount of stitches mounted... Instead of 33 do 66...

IT FITS!!! TA DAAAA!!!

I did this bere 4 times! and it alwas ended up smaller until i doubled the ammount of stitches.

SUCCESS!!! both knit up beautifully!!! thank you!
