2-Hour Garter Knit Scarf
Lion Brand® Fettuccini®
GAUGE: 7 stitches + 10 rows = 5” [12.5 cm] in garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SCARF
Cast on 7 stitches. Work in garter stitch until piece measures about 64” [162.5cm] long. Bind off.
FRINGE
Cut 12 lengths of yarn each 24”. Fold one length of yarn in half. Using fingers, pull the fold through the first space along one short end of scarf, from back to front, to form a loop. Pull ends of yarn through this loop. Tug gently so the loop is snug against the edge. Trim evenly.

| Very easy, fast, long and pretty scarf! Reviewed by Melva Godwin on 2011-11-02 |

| I found six skeins of this discontinued yarn and just finished one scarf so far for myself. It really is beautiful and I love it. I've gotten several complements on it already. If you can find the yarn (or a good sub) I highly recommend making one. It's easy and very fast. While I would agree I was able to do all the knitting in about 2 hours, the fringe and sewing away of the ends did add some time. The scarf is very long and I can now see that the model has it wrapped around her neck several times in order for it fall the way it does. Overall another excellent pattern from Lion Brand, just wish they'd not discontinued the yarn.
