GAUGE:
10 sc + 10 rows = 4" [10 cm]. Flower = 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" [14 x 14 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:
Crocheted flower squares are joined to each other as you work. Mark RS of each Flower with safety pin or scrap of yarn. When attaching a Flower, hold working Flower and previous Flower with RS in same direction.All rows of flowers are joined from left to right.
