Quick Cabled Hat
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Chunky
GAUGE: 16 sts + 18 rows = 4 inches [10 cm] in Seed st. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

I am NOT an intermediate knitter - which is why I had to try a few times - but if you *stick to the pattern*, you'll find that it's actually pretty easy! You really get into a "groove" with the cable repeats, and the end result is priceless. I made it with Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky in "Willow"
I absolutely LOVE this hat! I get so many compliments, and my friends all want me to make them one, too.
