Lion Brand® Lion® Cashmere Blend

GAUGE:

16 sts + 22 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

ssk (slip, slip, knit) Sl next 2 sts as if to knit, one at a time, to right needle; insert left needle into fronts of these 2 sts and knit them tog.

Flattering Sweater Reviewed by Jennifer Winograd on 2009-01-06 *
I just finished this sweater and I don't like it. The cuffs are strange! They are like dumbells on the end of the sleeves. And I will have to tack them up or they will never stay folded up becuase they are so heavy! I, too, did not realize that it was not a continuous hem when I began this, as I feel the picture is deceptive. I tried to adjust the pattern so both the front and back are the same length, but it still looks weird. It's an odd sweater. With huge cuffs, long side vents dividing the front and back, and on top of all that, it runs large. So much wasted effort! Such a shame...
