GAUGE:

7 1/2 sc + 7 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

sc2tog (sc dec) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.

NOTES:

Work in back loops only throughout.

Editor's Note: Based on customer comments, this pattern was revised on February 15, 2008.

Cute bunny buddies! Reviewed by Sarah Mannes Homstad on 2012-01-28 *****
I've made two of these little guys in the past week and they are terrific! I used a bulky, soft, chenille, which made the bunny super snuggly and maybe 25% bigger. For beginners like me, if you can just get through the first several rows, where it's hard to see your stitches, it gets easier as you go from there. I think the skipped sc detail up the edges of the blanket makes it really lovely. I am a bit scared to wash one, but had better test it before giving them as gifts to my new mom friends. My kids are a bit older - 3 and 6 - but they both want one now because they really are soooo snuggly.
