Treasure Bag
Lion Brand® Glitterspun® - Microspun
GAUGE: 22 sts + 28 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in St st with A. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

BAG
With A, cast on 90 sts. Divide sts onto 4 double pointed needles. Place
marker and join, being careful not to twist sts. Work in St st (k every rnd)
until piece measures 2½ in [6.5 cm].
Eyelet rnd * Yo, sl 1, k2tog, psso; rep from * around – 60 sts.
Work even in St st until piece measures 6 in [15.5 cm] from eyelet rnd.
Bind off.
FINISHING
Sew bottom seam of Bag. Turn 3/4" [2 cm] along top edge of Bag to WS
and sew in place. Turn bottom corners about ¾ in. [2 cm] to inside of Bag and
tack in place. Weave in ends.
Drawstring
With crochet hook and B, make a chain about 20" [51 cm]
long. Weave chain through eyelets, and tie ends into a bow. |
