Crocheted Candy Apple Shrug
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE: 12 single crochet + 8 rows = 4 in. [10 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
|
SHRUG
Chain 42.
Row 1 (Right Side): Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and in each
chain across – 41 single crochet. Turn.
Row 2: Chain 1, single crochet through back loop of each single crochet
across. Turn. Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 80 in. [203 cm] from beginning.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Fold shrug in half lengthwise. Sew sleeve seams, leaving the center portion
of shrug open and adjusting to fit so that shrug fits snugly around shoulder and
back. Weave in ends.
