GAUGE:
14 sts + 18 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in Stockinette st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. Row 5 K3, p5, slip next 3 sts to cable needle and hold in back, k3, k3 from cable needle, p5, k3.
Row 7 Rep row 1
Row 8 Rep row 2.
Rep Rows 1- 8 until scarf measures 41" [104 cm] from beginning, end with a Row 8.
Knit 4 rows.
Bind off.
Weave in ends.
