GAUGE:
5 in. x 5½ in. [12.5 x 14 cm], not including handle BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
Petals are crocheted in sections, then sewn together to make a diminutive purse.

Child's Tulip Purse Reviewed by Elaine Glass on 2009-09-20
This was a super easy project that I made for my niece. The hardest part was putting the flower together. Be sure to do the sewing about half an inch from the edge so it does ruffle. Also I got the imprssion from the picture that it was supposed to be flat but it is much like a tulip in that it is more bucket like.
