INSTRUCTIONS

Note Do not join Rnds.
Petal Motif - Make 10 with A and 2 with B.
Ch 3.
Rnd 1 8 sc in 3rd ch from hook.
Place marker for beg of rnd.
Slip marker each rnd.
Rnd 2 (Sc, ch 2) in each st around.
Rnd 3 * (Sc, ch 2) in next sc, sk ch-space; rep from * around.
Rnd 4 (Sc, ch 1) in each st and each space around.
Rnd 5 * Sc, ch 2 in the back loops only of each sc, sk ch-space; rep from *.
Join with a slip st to first sc.
Fasten off.
Handle
With C, ch 51.
Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 50 sc.
Row 2 Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
Row 3 Ch 1, turn, fold first two rows over and working through both layers, (sc, ch 2) in each st across ending with a sc.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Following photograph, overlap 5 A Petals to make a circle.
Sew together for Purse front.
Sew B motif in center.
Repeat for Purse back.
From RS, sew front and back together, leaving top edge open.
Insert 1″ [2.5 cm] at each end of Handle into Purse and sew in place.
Weave in ends.
