GAUGE:

Motif = 9½ in. [24.3 cm] diameter. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Medallion Motif Scarf Reviewed by Linda Mitcheltree on 2008-05-06 *****
I am a real beginner with crochet and found this pattern to be quite easy to follow! It makes a beautiful medallion and I just love Lion brand yarn and the beautiful colors.
I had to read the directions over quite a bit but they are easy to understand.
