GAUGE:
Motif = 5 in. [12.5 cm] diameter. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

INSTRUCTIONS



MOTIF VII Ch 6, sl st in beg ch to form a ring. Rnd 1: Ch 6 (counts as 1 tr and ch-2), (tr in ring, ch 2) 11 times, join with sl st in 4th chof beg ch-6 - 12 ch-2 sp. Rnd 2: Sl st in next ch-2 sp, ch 3 (counts as dc), (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same ch-2 sp, [3 dc innext ch-2 sp, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch-2 sp] around, end 3 dc in next ch-2 sp, join with sl stin top of beg ch. Rnd 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next dc, [(2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in next ch-2 sp, dc in next 7dc] around, end last rep with dc in each of last 5 dc, join with sl st in top of beg ch. Fasten off. FINISHING Weave in ends.
