GAUGE:
Motif = 10 in. [25.5 cm] diameter. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

INSTRUCTIONS

Rnd 2: Sl st in next ch-5 sp, ch 4 (counts as tr), 6 tr in same ch-5 sp, (7 tr in each of next 7 ch-5 sp) around, join with sl st in top of beg ch - 56 tr. Rnd 3: Ch 4, tr in next 6 tr, ch 5, (tr in each of next 7 tr, ch 5) around, join with sl st in top of beg ch. Rnd 4: Sl st in next tr, ch 4, tr4tog, (ch 6, sc into next ch-5 sp, ch 6, skip 1 tr, tr5tog, ch 6, skip 1 tr, sc into next ch-5 sp) 7 times, ch 3, dc in top of beg cluster.
