PETAL (Make 10 for each flower)
Ch 3. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next ch – 2 sts.
Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st.
Next Row: Ch 1, turn. Work 2 sc in first st, sc in each st across to last st, work 2 sc in last st.
Rep last row 3 more times – 10 sts.
Next Row: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across.
Rep last row 4 more times.
Next Row: Ch 1, turn. Sl st in first 2 sts, ch 1, sc in each of next 6 sts, sk last 2 sts.
Next Row: Ch 1, turn. Sc2tog over first 2 sc, sc in each st across.
Rep last row until 1 st remains. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
BOBBLE (Make 3 for each flower)
Ch 3.
Work 5 dc in first ch. Ch 3, turn.
(Yarn over, insert hook into next st and draw up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops) 5 times. Yarn over and draw through all 6 loops on hook to close Bobble. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
FINISHING
Sew 3 Bobbles together. With a length of yarn threaded into blunt needle, sew through one tip of each of 10 Petals, draw Petals together, then sew to wrong side of Bobbles.
FELTING
Wash by machine on a hot wash/cold rinse cycle with detergent and several pieces of clothing to agitate. To felt additionally, dry by machine on a regular setting until almost dry. Remove from dryer and pull into shape.
