Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
NOTES:
Use small blue loom for infant size cap, medium red loom for child size cap, and large green loom for adult size cap.
CAP
Rounds 1-4: WithA, wrap all pegs and knit around.
Place A in the center of the ring (do not cut). Rounds 5-8: With B, wrap all pegs and knit around. Round 9: Beginning with first peg, wrap every other peg with B; bring A back up through
center of ring and wrap remaining pegs; knit around. Round 10: Beginning with 2nd peg, wrap every other peg with B; with A, wrap remaining pegs;
knit around. Rounds 11 and 12: Repeat Rounds 9 and 10.
Place A in the center of the ring. Rounds 13-16: With B, wrap all pegs and knit around.
Cut B, leaving a long tail. Bring A back up through center of ring. Rounds 17-20: With A, wrap all pegs and knit round. Round 21 (Decrease Round): Transfer loop from every other peg onto the next peg; knit round.
Cut A, leaving a 24 in. [61 cm] tail. Round 22 (Bind Off): *Wrap next peg with loop on it, knit it and pull tail through; repeat
from * around.
FINISHING
Pull tail tightly to secure. Weave in ends.

This is an easy hat to make. The only problem is that the instructions are written only for a small child. Many more rounds need to be added to make this fit an older child or an adult.
