GAUGE: 9 sts + 13 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Work as for Left Front, reversing shaping, in the following color sequence:
4 rows with A (K1, p1 rib)
10 rows with D
20 rows with A
8 (8, 10, 10, 10) rows with E
16 rows with B
10 (10, 10, 12, 12) rows with C.
FINISHING
Sew center seam between Left Front and Right Front. Sew shoulder and side seams.
Neck Edging: From RS, with circular needle and A, pick up 12 sts along Left Front neck,
place marker, pick up 12 sts along Right Front neck, and pick up 18 sts along Back neck. *Work
in k1, p1 Rib to 2 sts before marker, dec 1 st, slip marker, dec 1 st, work in k1, p1 Rib to
end of round. Rep from * once more. Bind off in rib.
Armhole Edging: From RS, with circular needle and A, pick up 32 sts around armhole
edge. Work 1 round in k1, p1 rib. Bind off in rib.
Weave in ends.
