GAUGE:

10 sts + 13 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] with larger needles in St st (k on RS, p on WS). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Knit Child's Raglan Cardigan Reviewed by Alison on 2014-03-26 *****
Enjoyed knitting this; knitted the main body in a mid coffee colour and the pockets, cuffs and edging in a rusty red. Looked lovely. Had a problem picking up the neck for the hood, the hood knitted up a little tight over the top section of the head, but I think that was my fault as I did not distribute the pick-up stitches evenly. I added some chunky recycled buttons in rusty red. It looked great on my friend's 3yr old little boy. Sorry no photo. :-)
