Draft Stopper
Lion Brand® Lion® Wool
GAUGE: 13 stitches + 20 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) before felting. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Felting
Wash Draft Blocker by machine on a hot wash/cold rinse cycle with detergent and several pieces
of clothing to agitate. To felt additionally, dry by machine on a regular setting until almost dry.
Remove from dryer and pull into shape.
FINISHING
Fold piece in half lengthwise and seam ends. From right side, sew side seam leaving a 3 in. [7.5
cm] opening. Using a funnel or piece of stiff paper rolled into a cone shape, fill Draft Blocker
with litter, then sew opening closed. For more about felting, click here. |

| Worked beautifully! Made one the way the pattern stated, then made it bigger to fit the back door.
