GAUGE:

13 hdc + 9 rows = 4 in. [10 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Matinee Swing Jacket Reviewed by Heather Worm on 2010-05-23 *****
I loved this pattern. I am fifteen years old and i made this for my mom for Christmas. It is very easy to follow. I used Vanna'a Choice yarn and it turnes out a little thicker. The only problem that I had was that it wasn't long enough for my taste so i crocheted an extra 8 rows on the bottom. I loved it and will definitely be making more. I made it with green and paired it with dark wash jeans and a brown long sleeve shirt. I agree that you should choose a flashy
button, it adds a lot.
