GAUGE:
13 hdc + 9 rows = 4 in. [10 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Matinee Swing Jacket Reviewed by Debbie Snyder on 2009-09-02
I love this pattern! It was so easy to work up and looks great. Because I live in a foreign country I don't have access to Lion Brand Yarn, so I have to make a few adjustments. Since my yarn was a different weight, the sleeves and body of the jacket were a little short. I added a few extra rows and a decorative edge. I will definitely be making this pattern again.
