Bath Collection - Bark Sedge Stitch Washcloth
Lion Brand® Lion® Organic Cotton
GAUGE: 12½ stitches = 4 in. [10 cm] in pattern stitch. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| I too crocheted much smaller then the pattern states but that's what doing a gauge is for. I however, am making a facial cloth and like the smallness of it! I am using cotton yarn from a sweater I recycled so it's not the same as what is stated in the pattern, but it's so satisfying to see that sweater I would never wear become washcloths that I don't know if I want to give away (which is what I originally began making them for!). I gave it a 4 out of 5 because some of the pattern is confusing and it took me several tries before I got it right. I think it could have been written up a little better, but maybe it's just me.
