GAUGE:

13 double crochet + 9 rnds = 4 in. [10 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Bath Collection - Almond Double Crochet Bath Mitt Reviewed by daisy velez on 2010-08-17 *****
The main mitt instructions are very straight forward to crochet, however I have not yet mastered the thumb. It's been a bit challenging for me to shape it well. My goal is to keep at it until it looks as lovely as the one shown in the pattern!!!!!!!!!
