GAUGE:

18 sts + 34 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in Garter st (k every row) with larger needles.
19 sts + 27 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Cabled Baby Set Reviewed by Lynn Cuda on 2010-01-04 ***
Worked up fast and I was happy with results but glad I read reviews beforehand as I suspect the neck would have been too small. Rated it 3 Stars because either directions need to be modified or I would suggest you follow advice of knitter that added the side opening (I did!)
