Seed Stitch Ruffled Wrap Reviewed by Anna Marcella on 2011-12-26
Finished this last week in cranberry. I too had a needle break during this project which dragged this project out longer than necessary. It was hard to find a local store that carried 60 inch needles. Taking the comment from another knitter about the length I decreased the back sooner so the wrap didn't reach my calves (I am short) and I think that worked out well. I am giving this pattern a 3 out of 5 because I changed the length and skipped the seed stitch. I knitted the whole wrap in garter (except for the ruffle). If you are looking for something a little different you could try binding off the ruffle in a different color or in a novelty yarn. If I made this again I might make the entire ruffle a different color.(or maybe a softer yarn entirely). This wrap will serve to keep me warm at my desk during the winter months. Thank you for the pattern. I have already received compliments on it. P.S. The denim color in lion brand's picture of the wrap here is just drab!
