GAUGE:
17 sts + 22 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Bird's Eye pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. Beg with Row 1, work in Bird's Eye pattern until piece measures 13 in. (33 cm) from beg, end with a WS row. Shape Sleeve
Cast on 36 sts at beg of next 2 rows - 146 (154, 162, 170, 178) sts.
Continue working even in Bird's Eye pattern until piece measures 9 (9, 9 1/4, 9 1/4, 9 1/2) in. (23 (23, 23.5, 23.5, 24) cm) from Sleeve cast on. Shape Collar
