STITCH EXPLANATION:

Seed stitch
Row 1: Knit 1, *purl 1, knit 1; repeat from * across row.
Repeat Row 1 for Seed stitch.

NOTES:

Exact gauge is not essential for this project.

SCARF
Scarf is worked back and forth on circular needle, as if working on straight needles.
With larger needle and 2 strands of A held together, cast on 171 stitches.
Knit 1 row.
Change to smaller needle and 1 strand of B. Work in Seed stitch for 6 rows.
Change to larger needle and 2 strands of A held together. Knit 2 rows.
Change to smaller needle and 1 strand of B. Work in Seed stitch for 6 rows.
Repeat last 8 rows 2 more times. Bind off loosely.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
