Braided Hood
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®
GAUGE:
10 stitches + 20 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
HOOD Cast on 17 stitches. Work in Garter stitch (knit every row) until piece measures 17 in. (43 cm)
from beginning. Bind off. Fold piece in half and sew back seam.

This hat is really cute! Luckily I had extra yarn since it does use 1 and 1/4-1/2 balls.
