Lover's Knot Afghan
Lion Brand® Fishermen's Wool
GAUGE: 16 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in OXOX Cable pattern, slightly stretched. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: 2/2 LC (2 over 2 left cross) Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold in front of work, k2, then k2 from cable needle.

I have just finished my first one and just love it also. I also rewrote the rows to "48" so that the rows would work out even. On the second one I have increased my cast on to 262 sts to make it a tad wider. Planning on making a couple more for wedding gifts.
Thx.
