Lover's Knot Afghan

Lion Brand® Fishermen's Wool®

GAUGE:

16 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in OXOX Cable pattern, slightly stretched. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Lover's Knot Afghan Reviewed by Gwen Reid on 2010-05-05 *****
I have just knitted this in British Aran weight wool & it looks absolutely beautiful. Well worth the effort and time. Did it for my guy who is nearly 6'5", so bought enough wool (3,200 meters)to knit it wider, as some of the other writers have, and longer. Had enough wool left over to knit a couple of cushions as well!!
Name of afhgan helped a lot too......
