Headband
Lion Brand® Sasha
GAUGE: 12 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

|
HEADBAND
Cast on 10 stitches. Work in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) until about 30 in. (76 cm) of yarn remains. Bind off.
FINISHING
Sew short ends of strip together. Weave in ends. |

| I made this pattern in garter stitch using two strands of homespun yarn and it turned out great. I even embellished it with the knitted rose bud pattern and they work together fabulously. My mom asked me to make her one after seeing flowered headbands at the mall and she just loves it. Quick and easy pattern. I will definitely make more!
