First Motif
With 1 strand each of A, B and C held together, ch 4; join with sl st in first ch to form a
ring.
Row 1: Ch 2, work 10 dc in ring; do not join.
Row 2: Ch 3 (does not count as dc), turn, *dc in next dc, ch 1; rep from * across, end dc in
last dc.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, *(2 hdc, 1 dc, 2 hdc) in next ch-1 sp, sc in next dc; rep from * across.
Do not fasten off.
Second Motif
Ch 4; join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.
Row 1: Ch 2, work 8 dc in ring; do not join.
Row 2: Ch 3 (does not count as dc), turn, *dc in next dc, ch 1; rep from * across, end dc in
last dc; sl st into center ring of previous motif.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, *(2 hdc, 1 dc, 2 hdc) in next ch-1 sp, sc in next dc; rep from * across.
Do not fasten off.
Continue making more of the Second Motif until the necklace measures 37 in. (94 cm) or
until desired length is achieved. Final motif of necklace should be First Motif. Fasten off.
