GAUGE:
16 single crochet = 4 in. (10 cm). EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.
NOTES:
To change color, work last stitch of first color until you are ready to make the last yarn over.
Yarn over with new color, pull new color through all loops on hook to finish making the stitch.
Carry yarn not in use along the side of your work.
