Petal Mask
Lion Brand® Microspun
GAUGE: One Petal is about 1 3/4 in. long x 1 in. wide (4.5 x 2.5 cm) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

PETAL
Ch 6.
Row 1: Slip st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, 3 sc in last ch; turn to work along opposite side of foundation ch, sc in next 3 ch, slip st in next ch - 9 sc and 2 slip st.
Rows 2 and 3: Ch 1, turn, skip slip st, slip st in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, slip st in next sc; leave remaining sl st unworked.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn, skip slip st, slip st in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, slip st in next sc; leave remaining slip st unworked.
Fasten off.
Make about 20 Petals, or enough to cover mask as desired.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. Glue Petals to mask. |
