GAUGE:
16 single crochet + 18 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. With A, chain 3; join with slip stitch in first chain to form a ring. Round 1: Chain 1, work 6 single crochet in ring. Round 2: Chain 1, 2 single crochet in each single crochet around; join with slip stitch in first single crochet - 12 single crochet. Round 3: Chain 1, (2 single crochet in next 2 single crochet, single crochet in next single crochet) around; join with slip stitch in first single crochet - 20 single crochet. Round 4: Chain 1, (2 single crochet in next single crochet, single crochet in next single crochet) around; join with slip stitch in first single crochet - 30 single crochet. Sew on Eyes.
With D, work a chain stitch smile below Eyes. Sew Teeth to smile.
With wrong sides of Body pieces together and working through both thicknesses, join A and single crochet around to join. Stuff Body before closing completely. Sew on Arms and Legs. Weave in ends.
