GAUGE: 16 sts + 29 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| Felted Halloween Crown Reviewed by Rebecca Howard on 2010-08-31 |
     |
| I made this crown for a princess birthday party, Snow White theme. The pattern was great, I just made the points a little deeper than it called for and added some jeweled buttons. After it was felted and had dried, I pressed the points flat using a book with a weight on it. The buttons were sewed on last.
