Purchased Craft Wreath 11 in. (28 cm) in diameter Hot glue gun
GAUGE:
12 sc + 14 rows = 4 in. [10 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (sc dec) Insert hook into stitch and draw up a loop.

Insert hook into next stitch and draw up a loop.

Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.


INSTRUCTIONS



LEAF (Make 3 each with A and B and 4 each with C and D)
Ch 3.

Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in last ch - 2 sc.

Ch 1, turn.
Sc in each sc.

Ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Work 2 sc in first sc (inc made), sc in each sc across to last sc, inc 1 in last sc.

Ch 1, turn.
Rep last row 3 more times - 10 sc.


Work even in sc for 5 rows.


Next Row: Slip st in first 2 sts, 6 sc, skip last 2 sts.

Ch 1, turn.
Next Row: Sc2tog over first 2 sc, sc in each sc across.

Ch 1, turn.
Rep last row 4 times.

Fasten off and weave in ends.


Felt Leaves according to directions below.



FELTING
Place pieces in a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase.

Wash by machine on a hot wash/cold rinse cycle with detergent and several pieces of clothing to agitate.

To felt additionally, dry by machine on a regular setting until almost dry.

Remove from dryer and pull into shape.



FINISHING
When Leaves are completely dry, use hot glue gun to attach to wreath.
