GAUGE:
12 single crochet + 14 rows = 4 in. (10 cm).
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (sc dec) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.
NOTES:
1 ball will make about 40 leaves

This was a really fun project. Once i got the hang of the pattern, the leaves were really easy to whip out. Unfortunately, i didn't make enough leaves for the size of wreath i purchased for the project, so mine didn't turn out as fluffy as the photo. I will definitely try it again, maybe using some other seasonal colors!
UPDATE: i changed the colors and added a turkey to make it more thanksgiving-ey. It turned out pretty good!!
