GAUGE: EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | sc2tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook. |

| Amigurumi Bear Pillow Reviewed by Melissa Taylor on 2008-05-07 |
     |
| For experienced crocheters, this makes a cute throw pillow if you triple the size of the pattern. To make a pillow (remember to triple rows and stitches), you'll need two skeins of chocolate and three in taupe. The body shape is the easiest to adapt--chain 51 stitches and work until body is 15".
