INSTRUCTIONS



BRACELET COVER STRIP With smaller needles, cast on 44 sts. Work in St st (k on RS, p on WS) until piece measures 1/2 in. [1.3 cm] from beginning, end with a WS row. Row 1: Knit, increase 23 sts evenly spaced across - 67 sts. Change to larger needles. Row 2 (WS): K1, *k2, p4, rep from * across. Row 3: *K4, p2, rep from * to last st, end p1. Row 4: Rep Row 2. Row 5: K1, *slip next 2 sts to a cable needle and hold at back, k2, k2 from cable needle, p2, rep from * across. Rows 6-9: Rep Rows 2-5. Rows 10 and 12: Rep Row 2. Row 11: K1, *k4, p2, rep from * across. Row 12: Change to smaller needles. Purl, decrease 23 sts evenly spaced across- 44 sts. Work in St st until piece measures 3 1/2 in. [9 cm] from beginning. Bind off. FINISHING Sew ends of strip together. Wrap strip around purchased bracelet, with St st portion to inside of bracelet. Sew strip edges together. Weave in ends.
